It is never too early to start looking for your special gown. If you're wondering when to shop for your wedding dress, you should know that starting early is the best way to enjoy the dress shopping experience! Plan to start shopping for your gown about a year before the big day, and order no less than 10 months out. Dresses can take anywhere from six to eight months to arrive, depending on how many customizations you make to your gown order. You will also need to plan on two to three months for bridal alterations. If you have less time than that before the big day, don't stress! We have gowns available to take home same day from the Belle Amour Loft collection, featuring dresses starting at $699.
We LOVE to make shopping for your bridal gown an intimate, personal experience. In order to give you the best attention and care that you deserve during your experience, we do require appointments. This ensures that we have an open fitting room and a bridal consultant available to work one on one with you and help you find your dream gown. While will try to help walk-ins the best we can, we are not able to guarantee an open fitting room or one of our fabulous consultants without an appointment.
We understand that shopping for your wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and there are many people that you might want to share it with. In our experience, shopping with a few key people will help you stay focused on your own opinions and make for a more intimate atmosphere. A smaller and mightier "yes" team will make you feel supported, heard, and special throughout your appointment! We suggest special guests like your mom, sister, favorite aunt, grandma, or best friend.
Absolutely! Our team of Belle Amour Bridal Belles will work with you closely to hear your vision and choose gowns that fit your style and taste. We are dedicated stylists who are passionate about helping you feel amazing in your dress, so we usually find the one during your first visit with us! Before your appointment, just remember that your moment, THE moment of finding your dress, can happen anytime, whether you have your very first dress on or your 20th. That is a feeling you can never replicate, so prepare yourself and be open to having that experience! It's ok to find it on the first visit, just like many brides who walk through our doors!
At Belle Amour Bridal, we carry the best designer gowns in Toledo, Ohio, and are passionate about providing high-quality bridal fashion to brides in Toledo and beyond. Our bridal gowns start at $1499 and go up to $4,000. Try to prep a little before your appointment to have an idea of how much you want to spend on your wedding dress. This will help your stylist pull gowns in the range you are comfortable with! For gowns that start at a lower price point, we have our collection, Belle Amour Loft: these bridal gowns are priced at $699-$2,000 and are ready to take home the day you fall in love.
At Belle Amour Bridal, we reserve an hour and a half for your bridal gown shopping to ensure you have plenty of time to narrow down your options and find the perfect dress for you!
Once we are revisiting your favorites, it's ok to snap away! We do not want to waste your time by taking pictures of gowns that are not going to make the cut to revisit. Once you find THE ONE take all the pictures you want. Just remember that camera phones do not always do the gown justice.
The gowns that are housed as samples are extremely valuable, and that is why we do have a no food or drink policy. Because we also sell gowns out of our collection, we want to protect those gowns for future brides. At this time, we are not permitted to allow champagne during your appointment. We will allow water bottles with a lid.
Once you find your gown, get measured and settle on size, etc., we will process your payment to start the production on your gown. We require 60% down to order all wedding dresses. This can be paid in cash, check, or debit/credit cards. The remainder is due within 14 days of the gown arriving to our store, by cash or debit/credit card only.
